These wonderful antique/vintage carved wood panels are so wonderful and unique. I gathered them during my travels to rural China where I stumbled on hundreds that were calling my name and begging to be brought back to the US.
They are all hand carved wood panels that have been popped out of various pieces of antique furniture. Furniture that was beyond repair as a whole but worth something if it were broken up for it's parts. They have been popped out of anything from opium beds, tables, chests, drawers, screens etc, and just make the most wonderful decorative wall hanging EVER! They are anywhere from 80 - 150 years old and are in ORIGINAL condition, DUST AND ALL. You can clean them up if you like, that's part of the fun. :)
mother of pearl
Hang them on your wall (in groupings)
Frame them
Prop them up in shelves
Use them in a plate rack
Book covers (someone did this once)!
Measures 13.5" x 3"

AMAZING panel, long and skinny, has what I think is mother of pearl sprinkles all around the outer edge, or some sort of crushed shell. It features what I believe to be some sort of bird but I cannot say for certain. Has a chip on the bird as well, please see photos
