Heavy Antique, 800 Silver, St. George Slaying the Dragon Cuff Bracelet

The legend of St. George slaying the dragon to save the princess is one of the most famous stories to come down from the middle ages.

This exquisite, Victorian 800 silver cuff bracelet is an heirloom quality piece. The massive cuff/bracelet originates circa the early 1900's and is demonstrative of the fine jewelry artisans of that period.
Ornately detailed, this cuff features a center situated an armored St. George on his steed, against a backdrop of gorgeous scroll work. The cuff/bracelet is hinged with a sliding pin closure and a top safety clasp for added security.
The upper interior of the cuff is stamped 800, BAS and weighs a substantial 72 grams.

The cuff measures 7" in length with an inner diameter of 2 3/8" x2 1/8" and is 1 3/4" at the widest section of the cuff.
This is a piece that you will want to hand down to the next generation.
