The cream of the crop!!!

Antique 19c. Russian imperial litho tea tin.

Very large, very unique, very decorative!
I have never seen another one so exquisite!

This tin was used for Tea No.1 by A. Kosnetzoff and Co, the trading company and the successor to Alexis Goobkin.
I can only imagine the huge Russian silver samovar and this huge tin on its side full of tea leaves and its aroma.....

Fire red color, gold lettering with black shading, gold ornamentation, rounded edges, two crossed anchors as a trade mark, hinged lid.

Patches of rubbed off paint especially on top, rusted spots, some dents on the lid, scratches and some rust are the witnesses of the long history of this unique tin.

Great Cyrilic lettering and ornamentation on one side.

Absolutely extraordinary collector's treasure.

Perfect to store special things.

The best conversational piece letting your fantasie work and imagine the stories that this tin could tell.

This unique tin is large and measures: 9 1/2in by 9 1/2in and 10 1/4in high
( 24cm by 24 cm and 26cm high)

Russian Imperial Antique 19c. tea tin TEA No.1 very big, A. Koosnetzoff and Co litho tin box fire red with gold ornamentation
