I had never actually heard of this camera before I got my hands on one. Every once in a while you come across a camera that makes you go "what the what?" This is such a camera. Made by the Hoei (See? Howay? It's phonetic. get it! Ha!) company of Japan. 35 mm, the body is an odd combination of metal and cheap plastic. It definitely falls into the toy or "crappy camera" area. I mean, the lens just sort of pops off! Crazy. Features (and I use that word loosely) a Utacar 1:8 50mm lens. Manual film counter and the ASA dial is more like a memory aid than a real dial. But if you enjoy experimentation, this is the camera for you!

Some soil, dings and scratches to the body. A thumb sized dent over the manual film dial - makes me wonder if someone out there has super strong thumbs. A similar dent to the lens ring, however, it doesn't keep the lens or aperture selection from working. Inside is clean.

A great decorator camera, or as an inexpensive addition to your collection.
