This teabowl was fired near the front of my anagama kiln last fall. Heavily ashed on one side and orange-flashed on the other it could not be mistaken for anything but a wood fired pot. It was thrown thicker than usual and altered while wet into a slightly triangular form. When it had dried to cheese-hard I cut the facets with a sharp knife. This form is intended as a tea ceremony vessel, but it would be happy to serve most anything. It is made of white stoneware with natural ash glazing, It is 5.5" D x 2.5" H, food safe and ok for microwave.

Low faceted teabowl
