This beautiful little purse from the early 1900's would have hung from a chatelaine clip at a lady's waist. The diamond-shaped pattern is worked in steel beads on an off-white background, with aqua, gold, and orange-red beads within the diamonds, and a looped fringe at the bottom of the purse. The frame is silver-tone metal (unmarked, possibly silver-plated) with a pretty embossed pattern. The beads and frame are in excellent condition, with no loose or missing beads and no rust or corrosion to the metal. The kiss-lock works properly and holds securely. The pink silk lining is intact and shows only a little evidence of being used, with a greyish mark, visible in the last photo. The body of the purse is 4-3/4" wide x 4-1/4" (from the top edge of the frame to the bottom of the fringe). The entire piece including the chain is almost 10" long.

This item will be shipped by Priority Mail with tracking and insurance (U.S. only).
