Great looking pair of forks from Air France, part of a set of cutlery designed in the late 1970s for the Concorde. While this line has often been attributed often to Raymond Loewy for his "Compagnie d’ Esthetique Industriale" firm, Air France arributes it to Christofle (though they do attribute the meal trays to Loewy). It may also be the case that it was designed by someone working for Loewy's firm. We are unsure which is correct, and are offering these forks as they are.

Metal forks attached to plastic bases. Marked "Air France" on the plastic handle, and "Design CEI 01322 CO" on the back of the metal part. In good vintage condition with a few scuffs to the plastic and evidence of use on the metal. Interestingly, most of the forks we've seen have tines that are much more "pointed". These seem produced with a duller point.

Forks measure about 6.25" long.
