The company Air Orient was founded in July 1930 by merging the companies Aulo and Air Asia .
The artist Adolphe Mouron Cassandre (1900-1968) designed this poster in 1933 in two versions one with postal rates and this more rarer one with the statement : A letter is always in a hurry. (Un Lettre Est Toujours Pressee).

The paper measures 8.5 x 11 and is in very good condition. The reverse side has text in French describing the poster. The poster was reprinted in 1981 in a French aviation periodical.

Air Orient will be mailed to you in a non-bendable mailer carefully housed in an acid free archival sleeve.
