Here is a fun rose for the Monopoly lover. I made this paper rose from the money in a vintage Monopoly game, after my daughter made the board into a journal! In the game, the fives are the pink bills. And the leaves are from the twenty dollar bills. It is pretty cute. I wired on a stem, it is almost 8" long.
The paper rose is about 2 3/4" in diameter. A group of these flowers is shown in the last photoe, and would sure be a conversation starter!
note: this set of leaves got wrinkled, so I replaced them, they will be only slightly different, as I hand cut each one...
The white bills in the monopoly set could be inked to whatever color you like, too.
