This vintage midcentury ashtray is made of pale pink porcelain in a design very similar to the Lefton Forget-Me-Not pattern with tiny pastel pink and blue flowers, gold speckles around the rim, and a bow at one side. The handle of the basket is painted to look like a tree branch, and there is a small ledge for a cigarette on one side.

The bottom of the ashtray says "770." It does not have a Lefton stamp but would match well with other Forget-Me-Not pieces. There is a piece of the bow broken off and several of the flowers have chipped petals, but the ashtray is otherwise in nice condition and doesn't appear to have been used for smoking.

It would be perfect for your vintage vanity and could be used to hold jewelry or trinkets.

Height: 2.25 inches (5.7 cm)
