This is a listing for one rice therapy heat pack measuring approximately 16 inches long by 5 inches wide. Each heat pack is made with 100% soft cotton flannel and is filled with uncooked white rice, lightly infused with your choice of lavender, chamomile, or peppermint. Each heat pack is designed with an inner soft muslin bag which encases the rice, and a soft and cozy outer bag that can be removed for washing, if necessary. I have incorporated both function and fancy into my design. Each heat pack is carefully and well made, using fabric that is soft, cozy, and sweet.

All you need to do is microwave the heat pack for between 30-90 seconds, apply to the sore area on your body, relax and let the moist heat penetrate your muscles/joints. The heat will last approximately 20-30 minutes long, and after slowly fade away. You can heat and re-heat as many times as need be. Specific directions on use and care come with each rice therapy heat pack.

Along with being the owner of this shop, I am an occupational therapist who has helped rehabilitate many people after injuries and illness. I have learned that one of the best and most naturalistic ways to relieve muscle/joint aches and pains is by applying moist heat to the injured or sore area. I started making my own heat packs years ago, for my patients, as a means to assist in pain relief. I have seen these heat packs work so wonderfully in assisting my patients to relieve muscle/joint aches and pains. I am so excited to be able to share my homemade design on etsy.
