Lovely girl's tutu with a white satin top and a blue and white net skirt. I found this along with several 1950s carnival costumes, and I suspect it was also used in a carnival rather than actually for ballet. The top portion is embossed with cherry blossoms and the skirt has three layers of netting with a netting panty beneath. Metal back zipper. No tags or labels. This is probably still wearable with care, but might be best used as a decor or even a pattern.

Measurements: the bust is 27" and the waist about 22". The hips (measuring the panty portion) are about 30" max. The bodice is about 9.5" long, and the skirt is approx 10".

Material: no tags; the bodice feels like silk lined with cotton, while the netting skirt is most likely nylon.

Condition: no major flaws, but this does show general wear. It also appears that the original straps have been snipped off. Overall, very good vintage condition.
