This is truly the most exquisite 1930s nightgown I've ever seen. Made of a light & pale peach blossom coloured crinkle crepe silk that has a damask-like appearance due to the satin-y chrysanthemum floral print on its surface. Dreamy antiqued ecru lace edged capelet collar that has an asymmetrical shape to it (fastens at left shoulder with gorgeous ecru lace trimmed ties that I think look delicious tied into a bow, as shown). Comes with matching sash belt; garment has no other closures, so slips on over the head. All in all, this is a Harlow-worthy piece of boudoir wear!! Would make a great addition to a deco bride's wedding night trousseau, as well ;)

Approximate Measurements of Garment (in inches):
Bust: 34 at complete rest, to 40" (due to bias cut); shown fitting 37" mannequin's bust with ease in later images
Waist: 28 at rest; to 34" (again, due to bias cut); shown on 27.5" mannequin (with waist cinched with tie)
Hips: 36" at rest: to 40" (due to bias cut); shown on 36" mannequin, but fit me at 40"+ in the hips
Length: 52.5" (remember that the fuller the measurements of the person wearing the item, the more the length will get shorter due to the bias cut garment filling out to accommodate the wearer).

Condition Notes: This beauty is in excellent condition. It would be mint except for a dime-sized tea-coloured spot (foxing?) near back left side seam that that did not lift despite repeat attempts at spot cleaning, soaking, and hand washing. Hard to notice, esp. when worn, as wearer's arm basically covers it when on. Otherwise, this garment is in remarkably beautiful and wearable condition for its age. Still, item is sold as is and as a final sale, so please ask all questions and request any extra photos BEFORE purchase. Thank you!
