This one-of-a-kind book is upcycled from a vintage 1923 edition of, "The American Rose Annual", edited by J. Horace McFarland. This was a collection of articles by The American Rose Society written that year about all things pertaining to roses - cultivation, new varieties, public rose gardens, etc. I have included 20 pages from the original book, interleaved between 60 blank sheets of white paper.

This would make a great gift for Mother's Day, for a florist, rose enthusiast, gardener, or anyone who loves vintage books!

The blank paper consists of 60 sheets of recycled, acid-free, 24 lb. white paper, which is smooth enough to write upon easily, but with a bit of a tooth to it, which makes it great for sketching as well. It's all bound with a sturdy, wire coil binding that allows the book to lie flat. Measures approximately 5 1/2" x 8 1/4" (including wire binding). The book's covers show some wear, which is part of the nature and character you find with a previously loved, recycled book.

The perfect book for use as a garden journal or scrapbook, or to fill with brilliant ideas, doodles, travel notes, secret thoughts, spontaneous sketches, dream journal, keeping score on game night ...?
