Section 331 of Title 18 of the United States code provides criminal penalties for anyone who “fraudulently alters, defaces, mutilates impairs, diminishes, falsifies, scales, or lightens any of the coins coined at the Mints of the United States.” This statute means that you may be violating the law if you change the appearance of the coin and fraudulently represent it to be other than the altered coin that it is. No laws are broken in creating our original jewelry.

There is a restocking fee of 25% on custom made items., which partially covers the cost of supplies.

These rings are made from genuine coins. If the coin consists of copper/nickel, the rings may turn your finger a green color which is due to the copper. Some people are more prone than others. If you coat the inside of ring with clear nail polish it can help to block this from occurring. And then repeat as necessary.
