This Edwardian 1910s gold gilt and amber mirror glass brooch/sash pin is highly detailed and unusual with an Egyptian or possibly even Greek or Roman feel and flair.

Measuring 2 1/4" by 1 1/2" the detail on this gold gilt over brass, embossed and repousse style pin is truly stunning. There are four amber colored mirror or vauxhall glass rose-cut cabochons set in saw-tooth bezel settings. The center stone showcases an archer on a horse with bow drawn. On either side, there are two lion heads and all is featured on a raised shiled of curves and scrolls and ends at the bottom with two flowers. The gilt is in very good condition with only minor wear expected of a brooch this age. The c-clasp is secure and in excellent working condition. This is a collectors piece for sure!
