Prometheus Bound & Prometheus Unbound by Aeschylus and Percy Bysshe Shelley respectively,
the tragic dramatist and the romantic poet, consider Prometheus, the Titan, Bound and Unbound.

This Heritage Edition of Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus is translated by Rex Warner, & Prometheus Unbound by Percy Bysshe Shelley and includes a Preface by Rex Warner and impressively created drawings by John Farleigh,

For his planned trilogy Aeschylus completed only the first play with Prometheus and man's struggle between old and new. We do not know his thoughts of reconciliation. Shelley the idealist and reformer brought in more aspects of the original myth and showed his thoughts.

This book is in near mint condition. There is slight shelf wear on the box cover, but the book has been handled very little.
