Do you remember learning to sew using a piece of yarn and these picture cards with holes?

This Mother Goose Sewing Cards kit is from 1964 and includes the original box along with eight picture cards. I found this kit with all eight picture cards in the box, but it looks like only four are from this exact set. The other four must have been from another set, but stored together. Each picture card measures 6 5/16" x 8 1/4". There is only one piece of yarn left - the blue yarn laced in the cat picture. The box shows significant wear, including a large rip on the left side of the cover and some various stains. The picture cards are in fair to good condition. Some cards have minimal wear, but some have some significant creases / tears / stains. Please see photos for condition.

Frame for a special piece of art. Make one into the front of a mini scrapbook album. Use as the focus of a collage.
