60 days. Radish lovers, try this intriguing winter variety! Medium-hot, 3"-4" diameter, black with white interior. Winter radishes are a must for radish lovers. They can be stored for long periods. Round Black Spanish is an extra large radish that dresses up vegetable trays and spices up sandwiches and salads. Winter radishes require a longer time to develop than spring radishes, and cool temperatures to mature the edible root. To grow successfully, sow in mid- to late summer or early fall. 50+ Organic seeds.

~ planting ~

When to sow outside: RECOMMENDED. 8 to 10 weeks before first fall frost, and 2 to 3 successive sowings every 10 days. In mild winter climates, successive sowings can be continued until temperatures are too cold for germination. When to start inside: Not recommended.

~ harvesting ~

Harvest when radish is 3"-4" accross or smaller. If allowed to grow larger they tend to be pithy and hot.
