Highlights
This gorgeous yoga bag has been handmade using traditional Kantha fabric. The fabric is a quilted cotton fabric hand stitched to create the kantha design.
Kantha originated from the way in which Bengali women mended old clothes by taking out a strand of thread from the colorful border of their saris and making simple designs with them. This has developed into the style we see today, where multiple layers of fabric are hand stitched together using coloured threads, creating a quilted fabric with stitched patterns.
Fits a standard size yoga mat. Zip closure, non-adjustable strap.
Length - 71cm
Diameter - 16cm
Please note: the yoga bags are handmade from traditionally produced textiles which will have inherent imperfections in the printing and weaving.
The material used is cut from one bolt of fabric, so each bag will display a different section of the printed design. The bag you receive may not be an exact match to the one pictured, and to make best use of the fabric with minimum waste, we will use use two pieces of the same fabric instead of a single piece, but with a conscious effort to maintain a cohesive look.
