A beautiful vintage gold celluloid button is combined with a large, chunky vintage Lucite button in this one-of-a-kind brooch by Callooh Callay. The Lucite button is transparent, allowing the color of your sweater or jacket to show through. On top of that is the celluloid button--a concave, saucer-shaped button of layered gold and cream colored plastic. The surface is a marbled gold with hints of red in some areas, and there's a carved circle of cream in the center. Finishing the brooch is a small vintage black glass faceted button, which really catches the light.

The brooch is just under 1 3/4 inches (4.2 cm), and the pinback is silver plate.

All of my jewelry comes packaged in colorful hand-made pouches--ready for gift-giving, but easy to open if you want to peek first.
