1930's large John Peel jug pitcher made by Crown Devon, Staffordshire, England

Ivory white glazed pitcher with fox handle
fox and horse whip, John Peel himself,
hunt fences, tree branches and running hounds.
Really sweet!
These are usually additional colored
with these decorative embosed elements over panted.
Also, many of these were made with music boxs.
This one is without these additions and is really lovely for it's simplicity.

Backstamp label: Crown Devon Feildings, Made in England.
S.Fielding & Co. manufactured earthenware and majolica at Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire from 1879 to 1982.

Wonderful vintage condition. No chips or cracks. There is over all age related crazing which is normal in this type of vintage pottery. There's also some staining along the inside and outside of the neck. Also along the base. I've shown this in the photos.

Measures 8 1/2" high, 7" wide including handle and 4 1/2" wide at base.
