Send greetings {and express how much you miss them} with this distinctive photo print card of my original hand marbled fantasy paper. The quotation at the bottom of the photo is "Blueness doth express trueness" by Ben Jonson, a contemporary of Shakespeare.

Hand marbled paper is a centuries-old technique of floating color drops on a liquid surface, manipulating those colors into one of a kind patterns, then lowering paper onto the surface for an original print. No two ever turn out exactly alike. This marbled piece was originally done on black paper with red and metallic gold using a fantasy technique in which recognizable forms such as flowers or hearts are "drawn" on the marbling surface with drops of color.

This card features a photo of that paper recolored and a greeting added through the magic of digital manipulation! It's mounted on a beautiful white pearlized paper and comes in a clear sleeve and carefully packed along with a pale gray envelope and a scattering of confetti hearts punched from original hand marbled paper. Card is blank inside.

The card is 5 1/2" by 4 1/4" and ships via USPS 1st class mail in the US.

Please allow for variations in color of photo due to print process and differences in monitors. The heart on the card is cobalt blue with a deeper blue and black on a white card with light pink lettering.
