Stunning gold and white Roadrunner box bag from Enid Collins, circa 1965. The hand painted design features a roadrunner sprinting across a field of jeweled stars. Inside you find the Collins signature and trademark horse with a date of 1965. The small vanity mirror is fogged a bit and missing a piece of the silvering. Otherwise the inside is pretty clean. Measures 12" wide, 6.5" high and 3" deep.
The purse is in very good vintage condition. The corners of the box show wear from use, and the front design has a minor couple of chips. The main issue is the strap of the clasp has some cracking where you can see the brown of the leather. Still works well, though, and the bag as a whole is still a scene stealing accessory. Especially any girl with Texas roots will fall head over heels for this piece!
