These vintage glass rhinestone mirrored buttons are faceted glass rhinestones with gold foiled backs that have been glued to glass shank bases. They were made in West Germany, US Zone and are coming to you off of their original hank. I photographed these on a very dark and rainy day in Seattle, and you can see that they still throw a lot of light, kind of like car headlights. They measure about 9mm across, just under 3/8 inch. The art in the photos is 1 inch square. You will receive 6 of these vintage glass rhinestone buttons.

Germany was occupied by the Allies from 1945 until 1949, so these rhinestone buttons were made during that time period.

I always recommend caution in exposing old buttons to water. These buttons are coming straight off the original hank to you, and all the stones are sparkly and secure at point of mailing. However, I have no way of knowing what might happen if the rhinestones or glue are placed in water, so I recommend keeping them as dry as possible.
