"100 years of chocolate covered biscuits from Cadbury 1889 - 1989"

This tin is really quite fun, it features historic illustrations from Cadbury advertising posters. the large one on the back has a caption underneath " John Cadbury's Shop, Bull Street, Birminham, in the eighteen-thirties". Another - the one on the front is an advertisement for the nutritional value of Cadbury Biscuits. It lists "a healthy mind" - for children, "staminal energy & muscular development" - for athletes, and "comfort in old age".

It is in excellent condition, just a few scuffs on the corners, one small dent by the time-worn nutrition label on the bottom and a few stubborn green streaks on the golden bronze interior finish. It also has a faint smell of crayons. The hinges on the lid still work wonderfully, there is no rust anywhere on this tin. Measurements - just under 9" long, just under 4" wide and just under 3.5" deep.
