I am so pleased to offer this fabulous antique Limoges, "Tressemann and Vogt, Depose" biscuit jar! Size 7" tall, inc. lid and handle. Excellent condition, minimal wear to gilding.

Fresh from a local Oregon estate, this Victorian beauty, dates between c.1883 and 1919!
Around 1910 the company became known as just Porcelaine Gustave Vogt, however, the T & V mark was used throughout both periods.

The artist's hand painted, life-like, "Iris" vision, encircles the pastel green jar, in gorgeous colors of lavender, purple, and a soft green on the leaves. This opulent art object, was masterfully created on the easily recognizable, "Haviland" blank, or white ware, with it's distinctive, applied twisted handles. Kissed with white highlights, and heavily banded, and edged with magnificent gold, it is absolutely a treasure from times past!

**Note--If you are interested, I also have a large 9 inch "pudding" bowl, from around the same time period, that is in the same soft green base color, but with different floral detailing. They look wonderful together in any display!

(Please forgive the light flashes in the pictures, it was very difficult to capture a decent photo with the gold reflecting)!

I'm happy to answer any questions!
