DIY WEAVING KIT - BLUES & GREYS
For a WOOD BASE COIL BASKET

This kit contains all materials needed to make a small basket approximately 10x10cm including:

- DIY Weaving Instruction Booklet (with diagrams from my workshop for both left and right-handed people
- Needle to fit wooden disc and yarns
- Natural or recycled blends of yarn (cotton/sheep/llama/alpaca/recycled nylon)
- Handmade wooden weaving base/weaving disc (these are made from walnut, birch, fig, cherry, etc depending on what is in stock) with the perfect sized holes to fit your needle and wool through
- Pine needles or grasses
- Cotton bag to store your wool and needle
- Access to a private online weaving group and weaving resources
- Video for left + right-handed people to start a simple coil basket off a wooden disc (video is not needed illustrated booklet is all you need so you can weave on the go or out in nature)

Colours of this pack can be chosen by you, this can be chosen and added when you are finalizing your purchase in the personalisation field. If you do not select your colours you will be given what is available.

Photos of completed baskets are all made with the contents of one kit or less.

Sizes of DIY baskets will vary from person to person as this depends on how big or small you wish to weave, how close together your stitches are and the shape you choose to weave, different wool sizes, and materials used. You can always add more grasses or materials if you want to grow your basket bigger and information and help is listed in the information booklet that comes with your kit.

No trees are harmed with any of my creations, wood bases come from fallen tree limbs. These are cut and drilled by me. All creations are made with love and respect in honor of mother nature's beauty and magic. Grasses and natural material bundles used are all ethically sourced.

If you choose to keep weaving and collect your own materials for new projects please protect our environment when sourcing natural materials for your weaving adventures, know what is ok and do your research first. There are so many plants that need care to survive our wrath and so many plants that are invasive causing serious threats to our ecosystem that thrive if we mess with them. THE PROCESS
The coiling technique dates back 10,000 years ago, leaving a strong sense of connection to ancestors, past lives, family and community, and the self. With each stitch connecting to the next passing round and round, every time something new is woven it creates a new journey bringing amazing energy and growth.

Weaving creates a natural meditative state to bring peace to the maker that carries over to whomever you gift your creations to. Further information is provided in the booklet that comes with your kit.

SHIPPING DETAILS
To protect our natural environment natural materials may differ depending on what is seasonally available, what can be ethically sourced, and what can be legally posted per country at the time. Materials for weaving base may include grass, pine needles, vines, willow, fir, stripped fibers, cherry, walnut or birch wood.
