This delightful Art Deco rooster platter is quite a rare item possessing an unusual appeal. With generous room for appetizers and hors d'oeuvres, it cleverly holds toothpicks on the body of the rooster so that your guests can help themselves to a snack complemented with a generous serving of its old world charm.

Details: Produced in glazed ceramic, this Czech platter is quite sturdy. There are versions to be found with various other animals like horses and dogs, but this rooster is truly a great mix of rustic and high style.

CONDITION: Very good, with no chips, cracks, or crazing; there are a few tiny bumps from the original manufacture. It has a few small spots of missing color on the rooster's head and some minor stains near the toothpick holes, visible in pictures three and four. Stamped "Made in Czechoslovakia."

SIZE: 11.5” in diameter by 5.5" high

CIRCA: 1920s-1930s

SHIPPING: Because this item is breakable, the shipping costs automatically include insurance.
