Here in Appalachia, corn comes in many ways: On the cob, in cornbread, grits, and, most famously, in a jug (moonshine.)

Take a lighthearted approach to Appalachian living with this three-tiered sign on reclaimed cedar wood (an old fence picket) which reads "Corn on the Cob - 25 cents / Cornbread N' Beans - 50 cents / Corn in a Jug - Sold Out."

Hand stitched, freehand, with navy blue thread on recycled linen and accented with salvaged burlap scraps. The sign is finished with a coffee-based stain and rusty wire for hanging.

Lightweight, great for lovers of moonshine lore, and made of mostly recycled materials found in East Tennessee.

Sign is: 12 and 3/4 inches long (longest point), 8 and 1/2 inches high (total drop with wire is approx. 11 AND 3/4 inches)

And…as always…look for our “Corn Cob” burned onto the back of your original piece. Much obliged that you stopped by Corn Cob Cove.

God Bless!
