Antique Pirate Knife, Pirate Ship

Someone sent me some addition information on this piece 02.29.2012

This is a Moroccan Jambiya or Koumaya dagger - early 1900's - enty level/teenage type before he would become a man when a better one would be purchased.

Note: I do not know how old this piece is but believe it's pretty old. It is primitive and the wood is worn. The metal work is also dated. The blade is rusted and not smooth. The inside of the holder is lined with some kind of paper. That's all I know. Obtained here on Galveston Island.
