I inherited a collection of antique pewter ice cream molds from my grandmother. Originally they were used at early 20th century ice cream socials to impress guests with the amount of animal shapes, fruit shapes, or holiday themed figurines the hostess had made with this newfangled ice cream invention! Today they are used with ice cream, chocolate, butter, and anything else that would keep a shape.

This particular mold is of George Washington. This is a rare mold and is perfect for Presidents' Day or the 4th of July. This is no. 460 from Schall and Co. New York.
