Vintage safari suit in burgundy cotton corduroy from the late 1960s - early 1970s. Faux horn buttons, web and vinyl belt on the skirt, lots of pockets on the jacket. Made by Breckenridge. Marked a size 10, but best fits a modern size 8 (it's shown on a size 8 model) and would certainly work on a size 6. There's no stretch in the fabric.

Jacket details:
Military / Safari style, with an hourglass shape. Spread wing collar. Back has a center pleat and waistband detail. Pockets at the upper sleeve, chest and hip. Pull tabs at the waist.
bust 38"
waist adjusts from 26" - 32"
hip 38"
length 26.5"
sleeve length 22.5"
shoulder span 17.5"

Skirt is a high waist (sits at your true waist) A-line with blue jean styling: a fly front placket, center kick pleat in front, white web belt and ultra-wide belt loops. There's a little zip pocket at the hip. Hits about knee length.
waist 26.5"
hip 40"
length 27.5"

Very clean, excellent condition except for one flaw: the front tab of the belt, on the vinyl underside, has some cracking. The vinyl is there as a backing, so it could stand to go, or you could replace the belt for a different look as well.

vintage 1970s women's suit. Wine corduroy, safari jacket and skirt. Size 8 / retro military / the FRESH BEETS jacket and skirt set.
