These elegant cufflinks were made by Sigi Pineda of Taxco, probably in the 1950's or 1960's. They are marked with Sigi Tasco, (even though the mark is partial, it is unmistakeable), Sterling Hecho en Mexico, design number 56, and an old-style eagle with a 36. They are in very good condition, with no damage and all of their parts working.

These cuffllinks measure just about 1 1/4 inches long by 3/4 of an inch wide, and each one weighs 7 grams. They were made by one of the Taxco masters of modernist silver jewelry, and they make a classic yet subdued statement.
