These are some of my favorite books ever, the Life Nature/Science Library series. Packed with illustrations and carefully describing the subject of each book to the best of their 1960s ability, they are wonderful to read, or just to look at the photos and illustrations within.

EARLY MAN. This book is incredible to browse through. This book describes the function, life and evolution of human beings (to the best of their 1960s knowledge). past or present, full of illustrations and photos. It's pretty amazing.
