This vase has been fired to 2350 degrees in the wood kiln, and I can't remember which glaze was used, but the glaze burned out to clear and white matte crystals began to grow around the neck of the vase. The glaze also dripped heavily, so I had to grind the drips off with my rotary tool to stabilize the vase and keep it functional. After removal from the wood kiln, the glaze crazed while it cooled. This vase is watertight and is perfectly functional as a flower vase, drink bottle, or just for use as decoration.

This vase stands at a little over 5" tall and is 3 1/2" wide.
