My love for Donovan runs very, very deep, and my love for this particular album is almost... well... immeasurable. I can't call any one Donovan album my favorite, but no fan should live without this one! I've already got my own, so I am offering this copy to you.

Made in 1967 with producer Mickie Most, this is groovy, sexy, flirty, tender, jazzy, hip Donovan (as opposed to Fairy Tale Donovan, Folk Donovan, or Zen Donovan). The tracks on this album take place on the planet earth of the here and now, inside people's lives, people's heads, and within the context of popular culture. There are some very silly moments here, and some very serious ones... and of course a good helping of whimsy. Obviously I am biased, but I think every track is a total gem... Donovan just doesn't make "filler". Two of my very favorites, "Young Girl Blues" and "Sand and Foam" are on here. (If I think about how much I love those songs I actually tear up.) Of course it's worth it for the 1920s- obsessed cover alone!

In VERY GOOD condition. No skips noted, plays clean and bright. Exterior cover has light wear.
