Hand carved, hand printed linocut on linen/cotton with linen reverse.

This postage stamp really caught my eye when I saw it as a vintage-style poster. I couldn't track down the poster so I thought I'd have a go at making my own version. It is a 1932 one shilling Australian postage stamp featuring a native bird named a Superb Lyrebird, famous for its mimicry.

The linocut is printed in black ink on a linen/cotton blend. The back of the cushion is pure linen and has a zipper. The edges are piped and all seams are overlocked. The size is 35cm / 14 inches sq.

The sale price includes one (1) cushion cover and no insert. Inserts are readily available from habidashery stores, easy to make or you could recover an old one.

I have three (3) similar cushions available for sale.

I have prewashed all the fabric and would suggest a warm gentle machine wash or handwash.
