"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?" is an original limited edition linocut. Designed, cut, and printed by me, Natalia Moroz. Titled, numbered (from edition of 30) and signed in pencil. Dated 2005. This is an original piece of artwork, not a reproduction. The linoleum block is cut by hand, then inked and printed individually, so every print is slightly different. To learn more about linocut printmaking please read my profile.

This print comes from my The Rush Hour series. A little kid is on his morning walk to school and an adult - the father or the granddad - is holding his hand. The boy is looking wide-eyed to everything around without really listening. Depicting the setting as if the viewer were passing by, I tried to convey a feeling of immediacy and involvement to the scene which anyone who ever lived in a big city could see.

The image area is about 5"x6" and the paper size is 10"x11".
The other two prints from The Rush Hour series are titled "Where is it?" and "Am I late?" are also available.
