This is an antique color print / chromolithograph of 13 different kinds of mainly songbirds, from Meyers Konversationslexikon, published in the 1890s.
Beautifully colored and detailed, this print shows the ones named in the title and several more. These are birds that were considered 'foreign' in Germany at the time, meaning they came from overseas, but might be kept as pet birds in a cage.
This print is a double page with centerfold and is ready to frame. To see what a lithograph like this would look like matted and framed, please click the following link (and then go to the last photo for that listing):

Specifics:

-page size is 9.6" x 12" (24,5 x 30,5 cm), image itself a little smaller

- condition: excellent for its age with some yellowing and very slight smudging, (some imperfections to be expected due to its age of 110+ years)

- back: blank

- names of birds in German and Latin
