Cecile is wearing a cotton dress made in two different fabrics. The underskirt bodice insert, and collar, are a tone on tone gold fabric, with a minute checked pattern. The bodice insert is tucked with 1/2" tucks, and a tiny black button is sewn on each tuck down the front. The overskirt, pagoda shaped sleeves, and the rest of the bodice are done in a fabric with shades of green and gold, with black swirls. Narrow black braid is used to edge the collar, bodice front, sleeves, and overskirt. Box pleated fibbon trim is used to finish off the edges of the sleeves.
The bodice is lined, and there is an attached petticoat for fullness. No snag velcro is used for the back closure. All seams are serged, and professionally finished.
Please feel free to ask any questions before purchasing. This item was made with the adult collector in mind.
