This originally designed, one-of-a-kind item features flowers of wild carrot with an orange-and-black butterfly. The plant is also known as bird's nest, bishop's lace, and Queen Anne's lace. I made it of 1/16"-wide paper strips (1.5 mm) using the technique called paper quilling or paper filigree.

The artwork comes recessed behind glass in a brown, walnut effect shadowbox frame that can be used hanging on the wall or free standing. Please contact me if you don’t want the frame (see shop policies for details).

All paper is acid-free.

Frame materials: fiberboard and foil. The frame measures 6" x 7 3/4" (15 x 20 cm) and is ready to hang with a mounting bracket attached.

Matting: hand-painted paper mat with gilded inner edge, measures inside 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" (9 x 14 cm).

Please note that the colors on your monitor may appear slightly different than the actual colors of the item.
