This is a glicee print of The Junction at Mississippi State University. It is one of seven in the collection of prints that illustrates the historical and traditional places/buildings/things of Mississippi State Uinversity. Each print has the name of the place/building/thing along with a description.

I created these original illustrations in 2006 as a student at Mississippi State University.

Text under title reads:
Located in the center of Mississippi State’s campus is the Drill Field. The Drill Field has been a part of University culture and everyday life since the school first admitted students in 1880. Originally, Mississippi State was a military based institution. Students in the ROTC would practice their Reveille drills on the field before class, which was how the Drill Field acquired its name. The Drill Field is now the location for many Mississippi State functions, including Discovery Day and The Drill, which occurs on the first day of class. The Drill Field is an important piece to Mississippi State’s history. Not only does it lie in the center of campus but in many Bulldogs’ hearts as well.
The print is from an original watercolor and pencil illustration done by me. They are printed on 11 x 17 inch archival paper using archival inks.
