Vintage Drinking Glass, 1930s
This glass is a clear drinking glass from the 1930s. Glass holds 8 ounces, stands 4 inches high, is very clear. Design and lettering are in dark navy blue, very clear, shiny, with no missing paint. Shows a boy in a sailor-like outfit carrying a basket and eating something, a dog is in front of him, there's a house and trees, and the rhyme: To market, to market, To buy a penny bun, Home again, home again, Market is done. On the bottom of the glass is a mark which I think is Hazel Atlas (see picture). There are no nicks, chips, cracks in this glass. It is in excellent condition. Some of the pictures were taken with paper inside so writing and picture would show better. A cute little vintage glass to use, display or give as a gift.
