This is a 1970s vintage knitting pattern for a safari jacket with key features like a belt through looped buttoned tab pockets, and an above-the-knee A-line skirt, easily adjustable to be longer or shorter - any way you make it the safari suit is a total classic that never dates. The jacket would also look great with jeans, shorts, cutoffs. combats....

The pattern fits 3 sizes, and will be quick to make up in DK (worsted weight) yarn - the mock cable stitch has only 4 very easy rows.
