Check out this sweet vintage framed oil painting of a matador and a massive bull engaged in Spanish Style bullfighting. The matador is adorned in a yellow and pink outfit and is hoisting a pink and blue cape in front of the bull. The bull is charging the matador and you'll notice it has been pierced with three banderillas, which are sharp barbed sticks that are meant to anger and weaken the bull.

The painting has been framed in a nice black wooden frame that has a nicely textured surface, consisting of 5 cream colored grooves that run the length of each side. The artist's signature, "Chalise" is painted on the lower right hand corner. Nice huh?

A piece of rope is firmly attached to the back so this great fine is ready to hang!!

Measurements: Approximately 14.25” Tall x 17.25” Wide. Frame is about 1" Thick.

Item Condition: Good vintage condition! Frame shows wear, with there being some small knicks and scratches here and there that expose the wood beneath,. We tend to think that this adds to the piece's wonderful retro look! Canvas has become a bit brittle over the years and has two punctured areas on the bottom. The first (and more prominent) puncture is near the lower right corner. The previous owner applied some tape to the back of the canvas to help cover it. There is also a very small puncture starting below the matador's left foot, although it's very minor. Also, about 3 inches to the right of the matador's head there is a very tiny puncture in the canvas which is barely visible since the paint still remains intact. Outside of that the painting is in wonderful shape! Finally, some of the paint (primarily along the bottom) has begun to start getting a wonderful "crackly' look. All in all we don't think any of these defects detract from the overall great retro look of the painting. Please refer to the pictures for further details.
