This 7 1/2 inch seed bead cuff bracelet is hand crafted in Herringbone Patchwork stitch. It is made of glass seed beads, sized 6 and 8, in various shades and finishes of silver and green. It is finished with a silver slide clasp.

Herringbone is one of the basic bead weaving stitches, often one of the first learned. I got to it rather late, it was always a gap in my skills, and I found I like it most of all. It makes a very tight weave, with some angularity included, and Herringbone can be used in many, many types and sizes of beads. Patchwork Herringbone is my own idea, where beads of different colors and sizes are worked into the basic herringbone pattern.

This bracelet is made of larger size beads but is light and airy. It will mold well around the wrist. It is very easy and comfortable to wear.
