This vintage Philco radio from 1946 must have broadcast some great big band music as well as historic newscasts- and they used to look like art pieces! Wouldn't this look great on a bookshelf or in a retro Chic kitchen or family room whether it works or not?

This one has been used and listened to for a long time and shows it. It is made out of dark stained wood with a burgundy, orange and white glass tuning indicator and gold woven speaker. However, the beautiful dark wood shows lots of wear and the stain and varnish have come off in spots. The woven speaker has a couple of tears in it. It has lost its plug so I'm not sure if it still works or not, but if you know how you could add a plug to it and it may- it still has all of its insides as far as I can see. It also still has the paper labels inside that list things like part numbers. The inside is very dusty and I haven't cleaned it up at all.

It is model #46-421. It measures 14" long by 8" high by 5 1/2" wide.

It is heavy so expensive to ship, but if I can get it to you cheaper I'll refund your Paypal account any amount over $1. If you live outside the US and want it, convo me and I'll see what the best price would be to get it to you.

Let's take the A train......
