Hand knit from an incredibly thin Japanese stainless steel and silk yarn, this will be the most unique and versatile scarf in your wardrobe. I strung a selection of fine freshwater pearl chips and silver, black, and crystal glass beads on the yarn and randomly knitted each gem into place as I worked.

The scarf is finished at one end with a lovely faceted teardrop-shaped mother of pearl bead.

I love the contradictions in this piece. Soft because it is silk, strong because it is steel, wispy because it is lace weight, structural because the fabric has memory and can be sculpted into shapes.

Gently stretch it, scrunch it, shape it. It will hold the form you create until you straighten it out.

Although this is a scarf, the sculptural nature of the fabric and metallic content crosses the line into jewelry. This lovely piece gently embraces your neck and beautifully frames your face.

69% Silk
31% Stainless Steel
2ply, Lace Weight

42" when fully stretched
3" at widest point

Color: Black and Silver

Care: Hand wash gently in cold water with very mild soap. Lay flat to dry.

Although this scarf may be manipulated into various shapes, please handle it gently when you do so. Do not tug it forcefully, gently mold it. Have fun!
