This small bag was wet-felted from Merino fleece on Merino-Corriedale batting, with some needle-felted elements and some embroidery. The focal is a ceramic pendant from Asarta which evokes the Arizona petroglyphs. A place was carved into the felt for it to reside. The fringes are of waxed cord with ceramic, bone, and stone beads. The long waxed cord is braided in a chevron pattern with beads to match the ones on the fringes and a felt bead on the end. The bag is fully lined in a recycled blue cotton material. It is 4.25" x 7.5".

I am a fiber artist and all my bags are conceived as small works of art. The cord on this one is long enough to wear around the neck, but I think it would look smashing haning on the wall to hold small utensils or sacred objects.
